A Different Kind of Care
While You Were Out Pet Sitting Services was founded by Tiffany Weber in 2002 while in college because her apartment wouldn’t allow dogs!
While in college and working my first few years as “a real girl” in advertising, I was making just over minimum wage at 3 jobs and desperately missed having multiple pets around! Utilizing friends, family & co-workers I started staying in their homes overnight to get my puppy & kitty groove on.
Fast forward in 2013, as an established person in Marketing & Advertising, I had never quit sitting on the side and my little hustle grew! I realized I was much more happy working every day then the corporate hustle.
With the support of my clients, my friends and my partner, in March 2013 I quit the hustle and went full time caring for pets.
Now with multiple employees and our center, my dreams have come true!
My view has always been to give pets a home-based environment of care to ease anxiety! It’s more about fun then training with us (although we’re happy to implement any training that you’re doing)! Dogs on couches, tug of war and kisses are part of our daily routine!
It’s also important to me to create a balanced environment for my employees. My full time employees get fully paid health care, the majority of dental and vision. All staff gets Paid Time Off, Investment Bonuses, company cars, company phones and more. We offer a flexible work environment for work/life balance – both a set schedule option or a flexible schedule option. All of this means staff that stays, pets that get the same love and happy owners who become friends.

We have extensive knowledge in animal care & health as well! Not to mention the ease of booking, last minute or in advance, via our phone app and online portal!

Our focus is QUALITY over quantity - while we guarantee an amount of time, we reserve the right to give kitties extra scratches, guineas & bun-buns extra veggie, pooches extra hugs and ball tosses - and we don't charge extra.
We also don't believe special needs should mean special rates - our pricing is all inclusive.

Not many can turn a life long love of pets into a full time business, but here we are! Tiffany & her staff are also involved in rescuing pets - so we have an extensive "off-the-books" knowledge of behaviors, basic training, basic grooming, basic health and most of all (and NOT basic) LOVE.
